Winter's End, Day 1

BACK BLIPPING! Trying to catch up ....

Planet Rock, the radio station, is running a 3 day festival at a holiday park near Poole in Dorset.

We booked accommodation for ourselves and two friends and were looking forward to lots of great music. There was only one indoor stage, so no fretting about bands we want to see clashing, and it didn't matter about the weather as was indoors and we weren't sleeping in a tent!

Five bands the Friday to kick things off, with a favourite of ours headlining. Stone Broken are a new, young band from the West Midlands and didn't disappoint. Actually, to say they are a favourite of ours is true now, but before this evening our friends had never heard them as they don't get to listen to the radio or go to as many gigs as Sav and I do. 

They were so impressed that they tried to get us all tickets for a local gig on the following Thurs, but it was sold out. Lucky really, as that was the day the snow hit us!
