Trees in the fog

The snow is thawing now although my garden and drive are still covered with it. It's very foggy today so I went for a bit of a walk at Welsh Frankton to take some photos.

I was sorry to see a dead lapwing, it had probably been hit by a car as it was near the road. I'd never seen one close up, it's  iridescent colours were so beautiful.  I'm going to a lapwing conservation meeting during the week so they might be interested in it's location.

I didn't think that you'd want to see a dead body so my blip is of some trees in the fog, they looks as if they're marking an old field boundary.
