Happy Punter

Backblip. This chap was just finishing his day's work on the River Cam, behind one of the colleges.  I had been allowed a few minutes of free time (free from shopping) so I wandered down the side of the Senate House to the river, passing the wonderful many-sided sun dial at the Queen's Gate of Gonville and Caius College, reaching the river by Garrett Hostel Lane.  The punters were putting their punts away on a very cold and dull day. 

The colours might look a little over-done, but it pleases me :-)

The extra photo is another punt, with well wrapped-up customers, with a view towards the bridge from Clare College.  It was an excuse to use my 14mm lens.
