Murky

No more snow for us today just a murk that hasn't lifted. Having made the most of my snow days to spread out school work, it was a rare Sunday without work to be done. Instead, I walked Bailey at a leisurely time on pavements that were easier to walk on when they were thick with snow; tackled the ironing and a bit of tidying and sent a couple of school emails.

An invitation from the bestest friend and the favourite for lunch and a potter Uphill continued the feeling that it wasn't really a term-time Sunday. My shot of Step Hill has needed quite a bit of faffing but is still distinctly better than the failed shot of the inside of the independent bookshop.

Bailey was treated to a visit from his favourite people on our return which cheered up his afternoon too. We've had one more walk in ever-disappearing snow and then I've settled down for Sunday evening telly and Bailey has retired to the spare bed. I think a full working week will come as a shock to both of our systems.
