Not Our Night

Challenge Cup Final Day.  Cardiff Devils v Belfast Giants.

It’s our fourth cup final appearance in a row, and we were looking to defend our title in our building once again.  Things started off well and we got an early goal and had plenty of shots on goal.  But we had a disastrous second period and Belfast went and run away with it in the end, 6-3 to them.  To be fair they were the better team on the night, well done Belfast!

We go again and we’re still in the lead for the league title, we can still win our conference and the playoffs are there to be won at the end of the season.  Let’s go get some silverware, tonight was not our tonight, but tomorrow it can be.
