Tradition

This sort of butcher's is an attractive, but increasingly rare sight in villages or towns in England these days.  The one in our village tended to be a bit pricey, but the farm shop just outside the village is thriving with its smart little butcher's area to complement the vegetables and beer.

This one is in Clifton, a large and pleasant Bedfordshire town/village near where I work; I thought of Blipfoto as I approached, so I braved the traffic and weather to capture the view.
