Best of Three

Literally just three captures to choose from today.

Awoke to the sound of a thrush singing in my neighbour's pear tree (it wasn't impersonating a partridge). It then flew down into my garden.

It is over 5 years since I last had a songthrush visit my garden. They have been in the local woodland and parks, but not in the centre-of-town gardens.

This was taken with a long telephoto through a rain spattered double-glazed window. Apologies for the quality - a bit grainy but pleased to see it.

Song thrush, Turdus philomelos.
