Cat stand off

Our cat Leia, flattened to the floor in the picture was clearly not happy with this visitor to the garden.  I was having tea with friends and we watched the ensuing stand off.

Leia stayed like that with all the hair along her backbone raised, her body flattened to the floor, and her eyes fixed on the intruder for about 10 minutes.  And then - eventually - and nonchalantly - the very handsome intruder slowly walked away, stretching his limbs as he did so.
