Dirty whites

But pretty unscathed otherwise. The snowdrops have stayed static as far as I can tell but I'm looking forward to them just continuing on and their little friends, the G nivalis, finding the courage to actually grow a bit. The garden is largely back to green(ish) although where we had big drifts the snow is still hanging around. Same with the roads; and the golf course (which looked whiter than most places as we drove past; guess there's little chance of playing tomorrow).

We are now also rebooted; a trip into Shrewsbury saw us booking another weekend break - please let's not have another whoosh of cold air and snow!

Dad's water pipes in his mobile home froze and, in defrosting, inevitably one has sprung a leak, located in the boiler. The plumber has managed to isolate it so at least Dad now has cold water but it's not great. He's also down with his usual winter chesty cough and VERY keen for his building work to finish. So am I.
