Life in Newburgh on Ythan

By Talpa

Digitising my life.

Like many others I have drawers and drawers full of 35 mm slides. After much prevarication I have splashed out on a scanner and started on the Herculean task of digitising them, well some of them. I fear that my remaining time may not suffice! The two extras show the first two to come off the production line.

The first was take at the Blood River monument in South Africa; the monument consists of a laager of 64 full-size ox wagons cast in bronze and assorted cannons.

The second is a stoic herd of Arabian Oryx plodding across the rocky desert in Oman.
