Earth, Foam and Sea

We went to The Grange garden centre at Asfordby today. I had hoped to buy a couple of ferns for Harry to plant behind the pond tomorrow. But ferns and hostas are 'off' for the present. Not the season for them.

Len, Basil and I mooched around the garden centre for a bit. Lots of garden containers on show, including the three featured in today's photo. Love the texture. The different colours made me think of earth, foam (waves) and sea.

Or if you want to be a bit poncey about it, it references the transition and interface between land and ocean.

Then we went for lunch. Gluten free burgers were 'off' too. I normally have burger when I go there. So it was gluten free tartiflette for me instead.

I warned Len that I wouldn't be able to eat anything else for the rest of the day but I did relent and had the slice of gluten free cake he had bought for me. With a glass of rose. And a cup of tea.
