Goldfinch Safari

Over the past few weeks I have been trying to photograph a Goldfinch. They do not hang about and so I was often left with an empty branch! Today I spotted a few in the trees at the castle and hooray I actually managed to capture one.

After a snowy start it quickly thawed. Enjoyed catching up with long standing friend Sue over a morning cuppa which extended into an early lunch. Far too long since we had a catch up so we booked another on the spot!
