Yes, Steve the carver is here again and the garden population has increased by a woodpecker, a buzzard, some other things, some stuff, and a work in progress.  No, this still isn't what arrived yesterday.

Once the work in progress is light enough to lug up the hill he'll take it away to finish off.

In other news, we had a surprisingly good run at untangling* the central heating.  Cutting into two separate heating circuits and getting only half a bucket of water (and that, in the bucket) counts as Really Lucky.

* We have three separate central heating systems in the house (yes, I know...) and some bright spark had saved a few feet of copper by plumbing a radiator in the upstairs apartment into the downstairs apartment's circuit. This is now un-done.
