From Sintra we drove to the westernmost tip of continental Europe, Cabo de Roca. We were lucky to have this view; the whole drive out and back was shrouded in fog and mist. That was the perfect backdrop for the rocky, moss-covered Convent of the Capuchos.

Now we're in Lisbon, the last stop on our circuit. We might have a day trip or two out of the city, but we're basically here till we fly home next Wednesday.

As we walked through crowded, touristy areas in Lisbon this afternoon, we noticed that the hashish sellers and pamphlet distributors looked at us then looked away. One nice consequence of being post-prime travelers.
