CELEBRATING TWO IMPORTANT WOMEN IN MY LIFE

I had to post two cards today. The one on the left is a Mothers' Day card for my Mum. For all her birthdays and Mothers' Days for many years I've made it my mission to find her a card with five creatures of some sort - or as here five with a mother - to represent her five daughters. She says she looks forward to seeing what I've managed to come up with each time.

The other card - an illustration from Mrs Beeton apparently - is a birthday card for my honorary extra sister who has been part of the family for over 50 years since the day she and my sister K started secondary school together. Naturally, she shares the family dedication to cakes and puddings.
