Moturiki....

... or the blowhole as l knew it - and still do. This was the eastern perimeter of my childhood world, the Mount at one end, the blowhole at the other. I was on no account to go on either, but we all did all the time. Tin trays to slide down the side of the extinct volcano, Maunganui and so exciting on a stormy day to watch the whoosh of waves being forced through the gap and up into the air on the blowhole.
Very calm today so no "whoosh".
