Just back from a seriously full on few days in Bristol and Bath. We were just so relieved to get there for as you know, it was our farewell to son#2 and his girl Simone, who are shortly off to New Zealand. Here they are with son#1 in Bath - yes, I've cheated for I realised I didn't have a nice photo of them taken on the day. Their van, which is looking fantastic, leaves on Tuesday and they fly off to Auckland via San Francisco on Wednesday. They arrive a couple of days later (gulp) and Graham, the van, arrives six weeks later!  They have visas for three years and are off into the unknown! To make matters even more thrilling (and frustrating) they are pregnant! Talk about all happening - the Pip is due end of September/beginning of October!

A great few days though. My brother zoomed down from Manchester to join us for the Spa and after our meal on Wednesday son#1 zoomed up to Scotland for a long weekend mountaineering in the Cairngorms. Son#2 and Simone went off more sedately for their first scan. Isn't that astonishing as the first pic came through.

A few days in the city is great - we have walked, talked, eaten and gawped at the sheer amount of stuff going on and that is available, but oh, the bliss of the quietness of Cork airport and the welcoming smell of cow shite as you step off the plane!

A few back blips:
Day 1: that bridge
Day 2: Spa
Day 3: Chillin
