Back To Life.

Went to the beach with Linda and her girls. Had a sandy picnic and chatted whilst the children pottered about. We pretty much had the beach to ourselves, but for a group of young guys who were surfing.

Watching the guys I felt a little wistful for those long lazy uncomplicated summers full of easy love, freedom and the odd beach party or two.

Snapped back listening to Soul II Soul very loud in the car on the way home. The track Back To Life reminded me of seeing them live at Brixton Academy. I think I danced myself inside out that night.
