Construction or Social Construction?

The project is now starting to take off. Foundations are still being excavated and walls constructed. Pipes are being re-routed and all is very much a mystery in terms of the finished building. We keep looking at the plans but the cognitive leap from a drawing to reality is rather difficult to say the least. You have to admire architects and their vision of the 'possible'. At the moment it is all a social construction - we all have our own subjective thoughts, different views, and perspectives - but this also comes into a different sense of being when we share them.

So, there are probably many different social constructions of our project going on as we speak (the architect, technical architect, the builder, the 'brickie', me, my partner, my children, the neighbours, uncle Tom Cobbly and all ! How will all this end up - like the Architect's pictures perhaps??
