Dinner on the Stage at the Sage !

To honour people who have helped Gateshead and Newcastle to international fame and have contributed in growing our North East economy - we gathered at the Sage Gateshead for a special dinner on the stage.

It was lovely and as you can see, there was one absent partner. The audience! The organisers were fantastic and lovely people making you realise why we all live up here in this wonderful city (Newcastle and Gateshead that is). There were all sorts of people who have organised major conferences over the years. We all had something in common. We bore the scars of conference organisation but also the euphoria of creating, managing and delivering a major international event. This spreads the message for the region both nationally and internationally.

Entertainment was by a lovely Jazz Trio.....mmmm.....nice.... Fantastic food and a unique view from the stage onto the (empty) stalls and balconies. This must be a fabulous feeling for all the famous artists and entertainers that have performed here. Also - acoustically perfect due to the wood and the suspended construction.
