'Ebony and Ivory'

I took the title from the piece of quilting (extra) that I saw at the Scottish Quilting Show in Glasgow's Exhibition Centre.

The main photo is part of the grand piano keyboard in the church where we have our choir practices.

Today I had to say goodbye to my wee car with its sliding roof. The recent spells of snowy weather made me realise that the car wasn't heavy enough or tough enough to cope in extreme conditions. For one final time I drove with the roof open as I headed to the garage this morning. If I could have afforded two cars I would have kept it for a spare!
