Primer viaje a la playa.

First trip to the beach for the newbie. I'd been told that she doesn't go for walks (always had the run of a huge garden), hates cars, has never worn a collar and lead, doesn't swim and doesn't do stairs. It was immediately obvious that the poor girl has never seen a beach before. She rolled in the sand, paddled in the sea and explored a sandcastle someone had left. She was so interested in things, pottering around and sniffing and examining everything. Steps were another matter which will need some working on, her legs being a bit on the stumpy side and belly a bit on the wide side. The lead is another mystery to her, as she bimbles around in whatever direction takes her fancy, and it regularly gets tangled up in something. I have to keep it on though or she tends to wander off. It seems so strange to have an adult dog who doesn't know about walkies and car rides. Lots of rehab in store for her methinks.
