Rather worn and frayed

Which is exactly how I felt at the climbing wall this lunchtime with the average age of the other customers being in the low twenties.  But after four days of visiting family and no exercise to speak of I'd made myself go, and I'm glad I did, even if it left me feeling old and battered.
