As close as I could get and still get the whole hellebore in. 
I haven't done any macro photography for ages, it was a bit of a hassle getting the tripod sorted out when I wasn't very mobile. 
I've been able to try out the new tripod which LooseCanon bought me for Christmas to take to Iceland on the photography trip that never happened because of my ankle.
I've been to the gym and swimming pool today in an effort to get my pathetic wasted calf muscles a bit stronger. I need to be back to normal now, it's getting tedious!
