Almost Blipless

Jings, I nearly never took a photo. I’d been over pottering at the boat - a little hinge had got itself solid so needed removed and whacked with a big hammer in the vice. That was quite enjoyable. And there were blethers with Denis too. 
Later, out to see I,Tonya, it being a Monday and the day of the cheap seats. It’s an interesting film but I felt it was really a bit of a one trick pony - and that was Alison Janney’s wonderful LaVona Harding. 
So, goodbye then, Ken Dodd. And his Dad’s dog too. That’ll not be one we tell each other to great hilarity ever again. 
And a Russian agent Skripal, and his daughter Yulia have been poisoned with nerve gas, probably (if we believe our own intelligence) by Roosha. The why remains a bit unclear, though various theories are circulating….
The Skripal attack sends a chilling message to anyone from inside Russia’s bureaucracy thinking of cooperating with western intelligence. The message: that the state can mete out punishment at its own pleasure and in the most barbaric way. Oh, and your family might suffer too. Moscow’s covert operation to support Trump during the 2016 US election was a large enterprise. It involved career intelligence officers, cyber-criminals and professional trolls. Only Putin and a few top officials know its full scope. But a wider group of individuals understand parts. Anyone thinking of cooperating with the special counsel investigating collusion, will think twice.
And Trump is going to meet Kim Jong Un. They'll probably get on wonderfully well. Are there any golf courses in North Korea? Casinos? Not yet perhaps...
