A grey day on the moor

We missed the best of the day as I had to go to the dentist. The inlay which disappeared with a boiled egg won’t be replaced. Instead I’m to have a crown. £240 for the NHS patient. He can’t do it before we go away, so that’s an expensive treat to come home to in May.

We went for a walk round the moor this afternoon. We’d not normally take a rucksack - but we’d made a delivery to the bottle bank first.

And hurrah, passports arrived this morning complete with visas. New request for letter of invitation to Russia has been sent off. I hope the diplomats expelled by May don’t come from the Edinburgh consulate or we’ll be in real trouble!
