My apple

It is time to pick the apple off the apple tree - yes, apple in the singular. I don't know if this pathetic crop is the result of the tree being a bit diseased or whether there was a late frost but I think it is the poorest year we have ever had. I will just have to savour this solitary fruit! I shall pick it now.
