What's that monster coming over the hill

Another day working in Derby, and another lunchtime stroll to the arboretum.

I had been saving the arboretum's Florentine Boar as an easy blip for the dead of winter, but today I was rather struck by this view of the bronze creature looming rather menacingly over a small rise in the park.

A close-up shot of the boar will surely appear in a future blip, when I will say more about the history of the sculpture.
