Swan Reflected

We took a train from Paris today, for a visit with our friends Anne and Roger in St. Dizier, some 200 km east of Paris. Here they are with a large family group that assembled three years ago. After our arrival Roger drove us to the nearby Lac du Der, in hopes of seeing cranes (as we did  two years ago); they are currently migrating north and he had seen a group overhead this morning. But this afternoon no cranes were to be seen, so I am making do with this close-up mute swan.
