Pigeon Feathers.

The way that the three feathers are stuck together at the quill suggests that we have been visited by our sparrow hawk. (S)He doesn’t stop long, so we rarely see her/him. Since taking the Blip, I have been looking at other people's efforts in this department of Blipping and realise that I have a lot of ground to make up. Perhaps a little more consideration of angle together and some artificial sunlight are in order.

The car was ready for collection last night, but it had to wait for today for me to collect it. For the first time within living memory, nothing needed to be done to it – I’m sure they’ll make up for it next year.
 
The snow is slowly clearing, but it’s taking longer in our garden than in other places (we live on a cold, windy corner). There is a dead lawn underneath this lot, killed by an over-generous application of guano.
