The Great Daffodil Appeal

There were several ladies out in Holt this morning collecting for the Marie Curie Great Daffodil Appeal - a great charity that I always support.  The ladies were dressed in many layers - very sensible as it was bitterly cold, windy and snowing lightly. Another successful rummage in one of the charity shops - 2 Thomas Kinkade jigsaws for me and a motor racing one for M. 

A discussion with the pharmacist in Boots led to a call to 111, which led to a trip to see a prescribing nurse at a town 14 miles away.........and a diagnosis of shingles! Doh!
