Kot Nidding

A very early (short) walk this morning - as we had a busy day ahead of us. This Land Rover has been waiting to be photographed for ages…and today it was perfect for Silly Saturday. The owner works with sheep (and lambs) on a local farm and the vehicle is always covered in mud, usually much more than today! Thanks to Admirer  for the continuing to look after silly Saturday!

A trip across the Pennines to Oldham was uneventful despite the doom and gloom from the weather forecasters. There was a light dusting across lane three of the M62 but nothing to bother vehicles.

Sadly the footfall at the Quilt show was significantly less than previous years, probably due to the advice to stay at home unless absolutely necessary. This country is pathetic when it comes to snow. Most of the traders were packing up and some had even gone before the end of the show. An extra of us at our stand!

A blustery trip home with one or two snow showers.

We finally got to open a bottle of Champagne which we bought a while ago to celebrate our future grandchild. First time we have been home, together and with nothing to do tomorrow, since it was announced!
