Easterly

There was snow on the ground when I got up about 7am.

It was snowing when I went to the farm shop about 10am.

It's March snow, so it doesn't last long. But, we still have a fierce easterly wind at about 40kph, so it feels much colder than the thermometer shows (-1⁰ to +1⁰).  

Well, it will pass.

I was at Dysart again at high tide (about 3pm) for coffee. The breakwater is still getting pounded. I noticed plenty enthusiastic photographers trying to keep their tripods upright.

I knew a sheltered spot.
