Wound up in Wexford

By Neatwithice

Oh dear

Compared to much of the rest of the country, including parts of Norfolk, we have it easy.  But it's pretty cold, and the daffs and tulips in this trough are looking very sad.  I hope they recover - though I suspect we will be away for their best showing - we leave for a month's holiday in New Zealand in just under 3 weeks time - getting excited.

I hope the weather warms up a bit soon, and that not too many plants have suffered as a result of this unusually cold winter.  Even the hellebores, that were holding up quite well yesterday, look very sorry for themselves today.  And we have about 60 snowdrops "in the green" to plant before we go away.
