Easterly Beasterly Too

The beast from the east was perhaps less beastly this time, and by this afternoon I dare say it'll all be gone - or maybe we'll be under four foot of snow and watching out of opaque windows at a mighty blizzard. It was fun the first time, for about five minutes. It's almost equinox. Sunshine please.

This is taken from the hamlet at the top of the village, looking down over it and toward the Tyndale Monument and the Cotswold Escarpment. You can just make out my house hiding behind some trees (if you know where to look, which of course...). Over time this scene will likely fill in with new housing estates, so it's as well to enjoy it now.

Tyndale was of course killed for his heretical translation of the bible into English. Condemned to be burned at the stake, he was mercifully strangled beforehand, for which he must have been very grateful. Anyhow, hopefully that's the last outing this year with spiked walking boots. Time will tell.

Incredibish: the Pest from the West.
