Chocolate Rush

A mixed day of sun and cloud with a cool breeze.

Birthday celebrations continue with lunch today at a beachfront arroceria ( specialising in rice dishes) - of which there are plenty to choose from.   I make a good Paella myself but we decided to have an authentic Valencian Paella.   Our starter was king prawns and mushrooms in a spicy sauce, delicious.   The Paella was disappointing - see extra.   The desert was to die for and made up for the Paella!

When it came time to pay they tried charging 34€ for the bread!!!!   Then they did not take bank cards, luckily I had enough cash.    It was a lovely restaurant but we were under whelmed.
