Snowed in!

We only just made it back to the B&B last night and wake this morning to find a massive snow drift about a metre deep and 70 metres long blocking the road out. No way of shovelling that amount of snow.

The photography exhibition tomorrow is looking in doubt which is a great shame.

After breakfast we got all our warm clothes on to make the most of the day and had a very pleasant walk in the hills and valleys around the cottage. About 4 miles in total.

Now back at our B&B our hosts have been very good and fed us fresh pea soup and gorgeous freshly baked bread. Most welcome.

Shame we didn’t bring the laptop with us this trip as I’m sure there were some good images taken today.
