YAWNING PELICAN

I'd never seen a pelican yawn before.  The part facing you is the large stretchy throat pouch used for catching and holding fish.  The head is the tiny bump about halfway down on the right, with the hard front beak open to the back for the yawn.  It was quite a humorous sight!  (Wish I'd been closer for this shot, but I knew I'll probably never get a chance to capture this again.)
