FISHERMAN'S VILLAGE

We took a day trip to Fisherman’s Village in Punta Gorda, Florida, on a south Florida inlet off the Gulf of Mexico.  The Village is full of shops and restaurants as well as many, many boats in the harbor.  It was an overcast day with storms expected later, so most of the ‘beautiful boats’ were docked – line after line of super nice boats.  The working boats on the other side of the harbor looked quite different.  Most of them were out fishing, but I did get a shot of one shrimp boat that was docked.  See the striking comparison on Flickr
