Playing Chicken

Turnstones stubbornly sticking to their little rock as the rising tide splashes around them. One by one they gave up and flew away - the others seemed to be in a game of chicken to see who dared stay the longest!

I went for a short walk after school started before a busy day. It's Katie's birthday tomorrow, and my sister arrives this evening for the weekend. Should be a packed and noisy house all weekend :)
