Spring has Sprung

One of those days that just seems to have run away with me.
Had a short drive to meet friends for lunch.
Saw lots of lambs in the fields and either nowhere to pull over or they were too far away to get a shot.
After the lunch Mr P and l did a trip to the supermarket and met a couple of old friends who we have known over fifty years.
We always pick up where we left off and must have been talking and laughing for nearly an hour.
As we came home some icy rain had replaced the sunny day and l quickly whipped my nearly dry towels from the washing line.
I know that these days people feel the first day of Spring is either March 1st ( meteorological) or the19th or 20th (astronomical) but to me Spring starts today: the 21st.
