Tales of the River Bank VIII

A gentle meander further downstream today - from Henley to Marlow - lots of sunshine, but not really warm enough to spend much time sitting still. 

Close to the village of Remenham is a rather dramatic little temple - sitting unsurprisingly on Temple Island. I'm tempted to ask what the island was called before 1771.  I gather there is a Mackenzie connection too - but it seems as if 'we' sold it off about 30 years ago.
