Wicken Fen on Wednesday

We treated ourselves to a late breakfast at Scotsdale's Garden Centre this morning and this afternoon It was over to Margaret's volunteer job at Fulbourn Hospital. She had to be there early as there had a pre session meeting, so rather than come back to Linton I had a drive up to NT Wicken Fen. It's been a lovely day, just right for a turn around the boardwalk and a photo of the wind pump.

I drove back to Fulbourn over the Fens via Upware to Swaffam Prior and saw a Fenland FENDT hard at it cultivating ready for a barley crop. (extra)
