Ducks galore

I've been round most of the shops in Cheadle Hulme today trying to get the shop owners to do something to support the Duck Race in May.  A fair few already own ducks from previous years, so they can enter them in the race again.  If you don't have a duck and want to enter, you have to buy one.

The silver duck in the blip (which I am temporarily looking after) is one of the 'racing ducks'.  The yellow one isn't - it is going to be transformed into an earring at some point.

If you buy a duck to race then you can decorate it however you wish, including advertising your business if you want.  The silver duck is owned by a barbers shop.  I am not totally convinced that it does justice to what I am sure are first class haircuts ;-)
