John Peel Day

I don't like blipping out of sequence and have only caught up backblipping as far as Friday 19 October Saturday 20 October  Sunday 21 October Monday 22 October Tuesday 23 October  Wednesday 24 October at the time of writing, but this is one of those blips that has to go up on the day.

Today is John Peel Day, celebrated annually since his death on 25 October 2004, and to commemorate it I have grabbed from my own collection a few CD compilations of music from his Radio One programmes (some also include a few sessions from elsewhere on BBC radio), and one to represent his Festive Fifties.
