Turf Wars

Spring really has arrived.  I know it now -- there are avian turf wars being waged in the garden.  This handsome bluebird was having quite a scuffle with a house finch over who had sovereignty of the peak of the barn roof.  Mr. House Finch won, and  Mr. Bluebird had to make do with sulking on the iron rose arbour.  (Mr. House Finch in extras.)
