Streaming!

My fairly rusty Geography A Level knowledge alerts me to the way this once dry, stone covered footpath has become more like a trickling stream. Think it's accurate to say the meltwater from the huge amounts of snow has resulted in copious amounts of overland flow and surface runoff. On the fields, this water has combined to make extreme mud!! This stream provided a bath for my wellies part way round my stroll :-P

It was so lovely to be able to enjoy a stroll with hardly a touch of wind making it feel warmer. I'll take that...with bells on! :-D
