Rain catcher

The ability of this clematis (I think that's what it is) to hold a surprising number of individual droplets of water was one of the few benefits of a day of generally unprepossessing weather - the kind of ambient dampness that just about stops short of being rain but only because the water is more or less able to float about suspended in the air instead of falling. Happily for me this photo was taken just outside the front door (0nce again a distraction on the way to work) so I was spared a prolonged wander about in search of something for the blip of the day..
