Battle Stations

Highcliffe Castle has been hosting re-enactments of the American Civil War this weekend.  I guess the tenuous link is that the Selfridge family,  who used the castle a lot, were American.  So here are the Confederates lining up on parade.  To be totally fair to both sides, the extra shows a couple of Unionist soldiers preparing to fire their canon.

On second thoughts, these look like a mixed bunch.  I'm sure an American blipper will put me right and tell me whether these are Confederates or a mixture of the two sides.
