Our beloved Lake District

We visited Heysham Head today. The famous crocus display in the ancient churchyard was a disappointment. It is almost as though the worst of that Siberian weather arrived at just the wrong time and the many hundreds of plants aborted and decided to take a year out.

The view lived up to its reputation however. And the weather conditions were perfect.

Can anyone identify some of the high Lake District Fells?

If we turned our heads about 50 degrees to the left we found ourselves looking at two nuclear Power Stations which were less than half a mile away from where we were standing.
